Well, I got bored, so I decided to start a topic about what is better about GW over Runescape and Runescape over GW. I'll start off with a few things.

Advantages of Guild Wars include...

More freedom in exploring the world
More weapons and somewhat customization
It depends alot on skill, not money and armour
Having skills, so it's not just mindless killing

Disadvantages of Guild Wars include...

The game shop, which allows people with money to be better than others
Only having 8 skill slots
Having a preset arena for PvP
Nothing coming out of PvP except 2k-3k for the Zaishen Keys

Advantages of Runescape include...

The running feature (good and bad in different people's minds)
Having a wide array of stuff to choose from
Exotic places, bosses, etc
Alot of land to explore
You get something worthwhile out of PvP
More storeage space
More exotic items

Disadvantages of Runescape include...

Graphics
The whole "hack-and-slash" concept
If you have lots of money and better items, you can be lvl 3 and be the best
Chance of losing your valued items and possessions
If you die anywhere, you lose your stuff and keep only 3 things at random
Quests are not repeatable
Not much comes from getting quests
You need to have membership to get the other 80% of the quests
Membership is required for some of the skills, items, places to get into...etc

I play both and i agree with all your points some more i thought of are

Guildwars:
More group orientated
Broad Range of ways to make good money

RS:
Grand Exchange
Take a longer time to reach the highest combat lvl

RS - 9 year olds play it...
GW - people acting like 9 year olds play it...

There is alot of land to explore in Runescape. That is a fact, yours is an opinion. And you do get something worthwhile out of PvP. In Guild Wars, the only thing you get is 10 year olds flaming you for their impending death. In Runescape, if you survive, you get items and money, which can be sold for money.

So via this thread I worked out that you're pretty much one of the worst players in the game.

Examples:

The only good thing about Runescape I can think of is that you can play it natively on a Mac.

Or is that a bad thing?

One of the worst players in the game? Haha. That's funny. No. PvE is mostly skill. Once you have enough money for max armour, (which ism't much) there is no money involved. The only other "money" thing there is is the 15k armor which is no better, just better looking in certain people's eyes, and the fancy weapons, which also depend on looks. The thing with Zaishen Keys, you don't get them until you have everything there is to get in PvP. (I like to spend my Balth Faction entirely on stuff that will last forever, then on temporary stuff). PvE is mindless killing. Here is a percentage of how much skill it takes to do PvE..... 0%

Yes, there's 10-15 arenas in PvP tops. That's the only places you get to go. Take all of the space of those arenas, throw them in Runescape, they barely cover 1/10 of the entire landscape in Runescape. Exactly my point.

I liked your point on being able to walk or run. I do wish I could do that in Guild Wars. Running 100% of the time sometimes makes me feel a bit too rushed.
